Today I got something from the Ramona Humane Society in the mail (where we got Simon) and it got me to thinking. They were saying how they needed this and that to keep the shelter going strong. I decided to ask on freecycle for any and all items that they needed to pick up and donate to the shelter. I have a few of the items but  there are so many animals in there......IMO, this shelter is WAY better than the one I remember down in Riverside. I felt horrible everytime I would leave there that I stopped going. 

I just decided to do something to try to give back since I have been kind of self absorbed lately and could use a pick-me-up. :) . I miss simon, sometimes I swear I will see him out of the corner of my eye. . . Its horrible because I have been wanting him back so much that I was thinking of getting a new cat. Too soon though, I would feel like I was replacing him or something. maybe next year when it is adopt a cat month again. lol. I still feel so responsible that I dont' think I DESERVE another chance at having one. IF we ever get another one, I want to make sure that it is an adult cat ...the kittens seem to get snatched up so quick but the older ones are stuck because not too may people want them. In any case, the main reason for my post was to say that I hope a lot of people decide to get back to me for donating some stuff. If not, there are always other ways :)
